Thai Club

Dwarfed by the surrounding structures consisting largely of corporate offices and luxury service high rise residences, amidst Jalan Tun Perak’s famous night joints, lies the Thai Club and Bistro. Unlike most other establishments it is more low profile, more casual, more friendly, and definitely more relaxing.

A perfect after office relaxation hang out particularly popular with the corporate crowd. Undoubtedly, the patrons of the Thai Club are markedly different and while they may be less fashionable and more mature they all seem to be having a really great time. In keeping with their emphasis on hospitality, the club follows an open door policy. Hence, one of the first things that strikes you about the Thai Club is that there are no bouncers at the entrance, nor is a cover charged. This is because they welcome patrons from all walks of life without discrimination.





Banking on the popularity of retro music, widely defined as any “music of the past” ranging from disco, R&B, pop to the blues; that is rarely played anywhere else these days and it’s relaxed “hang loose” environment to attract the many who just want a place to de-stress with friends, the Thai Club is all set to make it’s mark. Here the band plays daily except on Fridays between 10pm and 1.15 am and lady dancers perform to the tune of the popular hits of yesteryear on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

“Erotic Pleasure” (RM 16) and “Love bite” (RM 20) are especially popular. Erotic Pleasure has a sharp orange taste that distinctly comes across as being lightly bittersweet while Love bite has a stronger taste of Vodka and comes across as being more bittersweet.
