Roppongi

Roppongi is one of the entertainment areas in Tokyo. Where are the best places to go?

When we went, we ended up in Gas Panic every time. Most of the bars there are ok but avoid the African guys who try to get you to go to their bar. They are really annoying. It think it's easier for girls to avoid them but they really persist with men.

Shibuya is better for clubs, and Ageha is good too.

Yes, Roppongi is a bit seedy but there is always something good to see there. There's a good Salsa club in one of the buildings. And Gas Panic is where everyone seems to end up at some point or other.

Shibuya is probably better for 20 somethings. Also the superclubs like Womb, Ageha, Yellow and Club Asia if you like dance music. Shinjuku isn't up to much apart from the Golden Gai area (it's an area of small hole in the wall bars).
